Timing : from 8 am to 7 pm on the day before the competition. In the event of problem on the day of the competition, a check may be possible from 7.15 am

For the first day of competition, equipment will be checked on Wednesday 08 May from 2 pm.

Fencers participating in several weapons may have all their equipment checked the day before their first day of competition.

Bags and equipment may be collected after the check until 7.30 pm on the day before the competition or from 7.15 am on the day of the competition.

What :

All equipment must comply with FIE standards (November 2023 version).

Name and nationality on the back compulsory

The socket inside the epee guard must have two separate holes in the block, so that the two wires can be passed through the block separately and then connected to the terminals (FIE Material Rules m.18.3).

This bodywire has a connecting plug which must be made of a transparent material at each end (Material Rules FIE m.29.1.b).
